Gaylord Community Schools is a K-12 public school district located in northern lower Michigan. Their district encompasses approximately 265 square miles, including portions of Otsego, Antrim, and Crawford counties.

Challenges with SchoolDude
Gaylord Community Schools used SchoolDude for several years to support their event scheduling and facilities maintenance processes but were never truly satisfied. The school found that it was not suited for the public to use for event scheduling due to its challenging interface, and for the same reason, the maintenance team was unable to do their job successfully.
FMX: The solution
After implementing FMX, Gaylord Community Schools has seen a drastic change in their event scheduling and maintenance processes. Compared to SchoolDude, FMX’s interface is easy enough for community members to schedule events, teachers and other faculty to submit requests, and the maintenance team to successfully tend to and close out work orders.
This keeps everyone on the same page and allows for transparency amongst the school and external requesters. To top it off, Gaylord Community Schools has seen a drastic difference in the Customer Support teams, with FMX being much more hands-on and helpful during the implementation and for other needs. Overall, FMX listens and addresses their needs promptly whenever they arise.
